Our events such as Repair Cafés are community repair spaces not repair services. Therefore:

• You attend our events entirely at your own risk. You carry out your own repairs yourself. We help you at your request and free of charge.

• We will ask you to agree in advance to pay for any spares we advise fitting such as leads, plugs, fuses etc: .

• We are not professionals, offer no guarantee for repairs and are not liable if items that appear to work when we see them do not work properly when you try them later, at home for example.

• We can refuse to repair any item as we see fit (e.g. Microwaves, Electric Blankets) and are not obliged to reassemble anything we have disassembled. We hope you will do it.

• You are solely responsible for the tidy removal of what you bring, even if still broken\not able to be repaired.

• Neither the organisers nor anyone present are liable for: 1. Any loss that may result from advice or instructions concerning repairs, 2. The loss of items handed over for repair, for indirect or consequential loss  3. Any other kind of loss resulting from work performed by us and our agents. 

Excepting claims of liability arising from consumer protection legislation which cannot be lawfully superseded.

We may take photos\video of you for publicity\education\reference\training, etc. By attending, you give us permission to use anything captured at our sole discretion. Please let us know if you do not want us to use your image.
