Sat 14th Feb 10am to 1pm in the Upper Hall. Every 2nd Saturday of the month
‘Bringers’ (local people) book in broken household stuff – toys, gadgets, furniture, kitchen items, electrical, garments – anything ‘normal’ you might break in the course of daily life.
We match them with menders\fixers\repairers confident enough to ‘troubleshoot’. Might simply be a blown fuse or need a bit of sewing. Around half of what is brought in gets fixed.
We’re not a free fixing service, people are expected to fix their own stuff in a room full of people with experience and the skills to help them. Contact us to get involved: HaringeyFixers.org

This is a free community event operated in a spirit parishioners will recognise – local people freely helping one another; generosity towards strangers.
We know from the four other Repair CafĂ©s we’ve gradually opened since we began in 2022 that this one will be full probably by the time you read this (they’re every month on the 2nd Sat).
If you have or want more troubleshooting skills, please come and sit with us whilst we help people with a view to becoming a fixer\mender\repairer – we can’t do it without you.
