Sat 14th Feb 10am to 1pm in the Upper Hall. Every 2nd Saturday of the month ‘Bringers’ (local people) book in broken household stuff – toys, gadgets, furniture, kitchen items, electrical, garments – anything ‘normal’ you might break in the course of daily life. We match them with menders\fixers\repairers confident enough to ‘troubleshoot’. Might simply be a blown fuse or need a bit of sewing. Around half of what is brought in gets fixed. This is a free community event operated in a spirit parishioners will recognise – local people freely helping one another; generosity towards strangers. We know from the four other Repair CafĂ©s we’ve gradually opened since we began in 2022 that this one will be full probably by the time you read this (they’re every month on the 2nd Sat).
